PRENART EQUIPMENT ApS is a Danish company specialized in production of equipment for soil- and groundwater investigations.
The company is also a consultant for public authorities and private companies for sampling of soil- and groundwater.
We deliver individual solutions according to the needs of our costumers. We install soil water samplers and pump systems etc. for direct use by our clients.
The wide application and further development of different equipment over the years, has been done in cooperation with a number of universities, research institutions and private companies.
The participation in research projects at the universities has in some cases resulted in development of components, which have been further developed to a commercial product potential. Lately, the Gas Flux Chamber has been developed in corporation with The Technical University of Denmark and University of Copenhagen.
The keyword has from the very beginning been emphasized by development of durable equipment of high quality.

Portable Vacuum Pumps
The portable vacuum pump/compressor system is developed for the PRENART field equipment for soil and groundwater investegations. Due to it's simple construction and robustness, it is applicable everywhere when easy and quick access to vacuum or compressed air is required.

Soil water samplers
PRENART soil water samplers (suction cup lysimeters / Ger.: Saugkerze) are made of porous PTFE (teflon) mixed with silica flour.
PRENART soil water samplers combine in a new and unique way the inert character of PTFE with the good hydrological properties of silica flour.
In this way it has been possible to remove the water-repellent character of the PTFE to ensure good capillary contact with the pore water in the soil.
PRENART soil water samplers are very robust and can be installed in all soil types at all depths.
ECO2 Flux Chamber
In contrast to most other chamber designs the ECO2 fluX chamber closes from the ground and upwards to the desired height where it then meets the lid. This prevents plant damage during closure of the chamber.
The movement of the arms of the lid and the chamber tubes takes place over one axis by only one motor/gear unit. When inactive, the chamber lid and tubes rests close to the ground and well protected against wind.
The simple and sturdy design makes the hamber highly reliable even under very windy conditions.
